The SLC-1 is an on demand, real-time digital tracking device
with no external antennas. This design allows an easy and
non-obtrusive installation in any vehicle.

The SLC-1 calculates precise locations from the GPS satellite constellation and communicates this back using
a digital cellular (GSM) network. It can automatically send this information to the user in real-time or on-demand
when the user requests it. The device is also capable of monitoring and controlling non-GPS information such
as theft alarms, battery levels, and ignition based movements.
With only a two-wire interface and a low power consumption, this device can be permanently installed in any
vehicle with a 5-30 vdc power source available.
Or, with the optional OBD-II permanent adapter, it can be installed
without any wire-splicing or electrical know-how. It can also be installed
on a non-permanent basis and relocated between multiple vehicles
using the optional cigarette-lighter adapter or the optional OBD-II
temporary adapter.
Power draw is less than traditional GPS tracking devices and the SLC-1
will operate reliably even when the battery is not being consistently
charged. A typical car battery can power the SLC-1 for 60 days or longer
with the ignition off. An optional back-up battery pack can provide
additional power for up to 15 hours in the event that the primary power
source is removed. The back-up battery will be recharged when the car is
restarted.

Remote Starter Disable
This feature can be used proactively to disable your starter to prevent a prospective thief from stealing your car
or used reactively to disable your starter when you are notified or realize that your car has been stolen.

Should your vehicles alarm be triggered, your SLC-1 unit can report this to you immediately.
Remote Door Unlock
Have you ever stepped out of your vehicle and shut the door only to realize a moment too late that you are
standing outside while your keys are locked inside? Don't panic. With the SLC-1 you can use any internet
accessible computer to securely 'call and command" your car to unlock the doors.
Speed Notification
If you're concerned about the driving habits of people you entrust the use of your vehicle, the SLC-1 can alert you
to any excessive driving speeds by selecting a preset speed limit. You will be notified if that limit is exceeded.
